Charleston Tour Group is making a difference for small businesses in Charleston through a community-focused program designed to celebrate entrepreneurship and support local growth. Each year, our Blueberry Tour Co-Op partners with one small business in its very first year of operation, offering that business’s customers a FREE Ghost Tour or History Tour with every purchase they make.
This program was designed to assist new businesses in overcoming the sales challenges that often arise in their first year. By adding something extra to each transaction, Charleston Tour Group helps participating businesses build stronger relationships with their customers.
For customers, the incentive feels like a gift. A visit to a new small business doesn’t just end with a purchase—it comes with a chance to explore Charleston’s fascinating stories. Whether it’s learning about the city’s colonial past on a History Tour or uncovering its haunted legends on a Ghost Tour, the experience leaves a lasting impression. That positive memory reflects on the small business that provided it, encouraging repeat visits and word-of-mouth recommendations.

The Program
For every qualifying product or service purchased from your company during the calendar year, the Blueberry Tour Co-Op will provide your customer with a complimentary Ghost Tour or History Tour for qualifying purchases.
Together, we create a win-win partnership—your customers enjoy a memorable adventure, while your business builds stronger connections within the community.
The Process
If selected, your business will receive a unique tour booking code, created exclusively for your customers.
This code should be printed on receipts or invoices for qualifying purchases.
Customers simply visit the Blueberry Tours website, select the date/time for their tour, enter the code at checkout, and redeem it for one complimentary Ghost Tour or History Tour.
The Rules
1. You must be a small business in your first year of operation.
2. You must submit the application below for consideration in the next calendar year.
3. We can’t accept franchise businesses
4. Your business must be in the local Charleston area to qualify
5. There are no fees associated with this program.
A good fit for this program...
– Local Charleston-area companies in the first year of business.
– Retail or Service businesses that have well-defined products
– Businesses that believe in giving back to the community
– Businesses operating in the Charleston tourism industry
Not a good fit for this program...
– Franchises – Simply because you already have a support system
– Small product businesses like Coffee Shops, Restaurants, & Dry Cleaners
– Established businesses operating after year one
– Branches, Non-Profits, Web-Based, Insurance, or Financial Businesses
